Registered Psychologist

Ashlee Wells understands the perinatal period from the inside. Her own journey into motherhood was identity-shifting in the way it is for so many women: full of joy, and full of things she hadn't anticipated. As an AuDHD mother, she also came to understand firsthand how profoundly neurodivergence can shape the experience of parenting, and how rarely that is acknowledged or supported well.

That lived understanding sits at the foundation of her clinical work. Ashlee has an interest in perinatal mental health and women's psychology, with a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent mothers through the unique challenges and strengths they bring to the parenting journey. She works with women navigating anxiety, overwhelm, identity transition and the emotional complexity that the perinatal period so often surfaces, offering care that is compassionate, evidence-based and genuinely attuned to the whole person.

Her goal has always been to create a space where mothers feel truly safe to share what is actually going on, without having to perform wellness or explain themselves first. All mothers are welcome in her practice, and neurodivergent mothers especially will find in Ashlee someone who really gets it.

Ashlee relocated from Townsville to Brisbane in 2021 with her husband and their two children. Their family runs on outdoor adventures, and you will usually find them somewhere between the bush, the beach and the mountains on a weekend.
